Born on December 2, 1984, Meghan Harris became a familiar and beloved presence within Houston County High School Wrestling and The Storm Wrestling Center, where her daughter was an athlete. What started as supporting her child grew into something much bigger. Meghan embraced the entire wrestling community, cheering for every athlete, encouraging families, and becoming a constant source of energy and positivity.

Those who knew her describe a woman whose kindness was effortless and whose loyalty ran deep. Friends called her a “Day 1” and a soulmate, someone who stood by people through everything. Within the wrestling world, she was more than a supporter, she was part of the foundation, someone who made athletes feel seen and valued, and families feel connected.

Meghan Harris will be remembered for the love she gave so freely, the strength of the relationships she built, and the impact she made on countless young athletes. A candlelight vigil will be held on May 2, 2026, at 8:00 PM at The Storm Center in Perry, where the community will gather to honor her life and the legacy of support and compassion she leaves behind.
